Overview

Each order contains 10 pieces of the selected model. All options use the FM1108 / FM11RF08 (F08) contactless chip, a 13.56MHz ISO/IEC 14443-A RFID memory chip with 8Kbit (1KB) EEPROM. It is commonly used as a MIFARE Classic 1K / S50 compatible chip for access control, attendance systems, RFID/NFC testing, loyalty cards, and maker projects.

Please select the required product number before adding to cart. The product number controls the physical size and inlay/label style; the chip is the same FM1108 type across all options.

FM1108 and MIFARE Compatibility

  • Chip: FM1108 / FM11RF08 / F08.
  • Frequency: 13.56MHz.
  • Protocol: ISO/IEC 14443-A.
  • Memory: 8Kbit / 1KB EEPROM, commonly organized as 16 sectors with 4 blocks per sector.
  • Compatibility: designed for MIFARE Classic 1K / S50 compatible reader and application environments.
  • UID: factory assigned. Custom UID change or pre-programming is not included unless confirmed separately.

Compatibility depends on the reader, application keys, sector access settings, antenna size, and installation surface. This is not a 125kHz ID/EM card, not an NTAG NFC Forum Type 2 tag, and not a UHF RFID tag. MIFARE Classic support on mobile phones is device-dependent; some phones and apps cannot read or write MIFARE Classic cards.

RFID Label Material Types

RFID labels can use the same chip and antenna but different outer material structures. The material type mainly affects handling, printing, adhesive use, durability, and installation method.

  • Dry inlay: made from the chip, antenna, and PET base film. It has no adhesive and no finished printable face stock, so it is normally used for embedding, lamination, or further label/card manufacturing rather than direct peel-and-stick use.
  • Wet inlay: dry inlay plus adhesive and release liner. It can be peeled and stuck to a suitable surface, but it has no separate printable face material, so it is not ideal for normal surface printing.
  • Coated paper label / art paper label: wet inlay plus a coated paper face stock. It is self-adhesive and easier to print on, making it suitable for general labeling, product identification, cards, packaging, and disposable applications.
  • PET label: wet inlay plus a PET face stock. It is self-adhesive, printable with suitable printing methods, and usually more resistant to moisture, abrasion, and tearing than paper labels. Select this type only when a PET option is listed.

For this product page, the selectable models include dry inlay, wet inlay, and coated paper label options. PET is explained here as a material reference so customers can understand the difference when comparing RFID label structures.

Non-Anti-Metal Notice

This product is a standard non-anti-metal RFID tag. Standard HF RFID antennas can be detuned by metal, which can shorten the read range or prevent reading entirely. Anti-metal tags add an isolation layer such as ferrite or extra spacing so they can work on metal surfaces, but they are usually thicker and more expensive. Use these FM1108 tags on non-metal surfaces, or keep enough distance from metal and test the read range before deployment.

Specifications

  • Quantity: 10 pcs per pack.
  • Price: USD 10 per pack.
  • Shipping weight: 80g per pack.
  • Read/write distance: depends on reader power, reader antenna, tag size, mounting surface, and environment.
  • Recommended surface: non-metal materials such as paper, plastic, cardboard, or dry wood.
  • Security note: MIFARE Classic-compatible cards are suitable for legacy and general-purpose systems, but they are not recommended as the only control for new high-security applications.
